This idyllic new retreat on the outskirts of Srinagar evokes the beauty of the main Himalayan range and Vale of Kashmir. This 33 room, luxury boutique resort is the brainchild of the Rah family – Nazir, Katherine and their two children, — an ode to the Kashmir they love. Built from locally quarried granite, native cedar wood and traditional Kashmiri brickwork, the resort is exquisite in its contradictions – modern yet traditional, simple yet intricate. It has a distinctive character with its chalet style units with Alpine influences, set over 3 acres, within an apple orchard, framed by towering poplars.
